We would like to thank you those of you who attended our last meet up. Thank you to our guest speaker “Senthamil Selvan” for sharing his knowledge with our community members and we are looking forward to have more of his presentation in our future event as well… And I would like to give very special thank to Justin Lee (one of our group leaders and C# MVP) for arranging everything for our last meetup.

Good Morning guys! I hope you all are doing well. As you guys know, we skipped our monthly meetup last month because Microsoft SG had a big event closed to our meetup date. We will have our meetup this month. Senthamil from Xchanging Pte Ltd will talk about RIA Service on 14th of June. I’m sure that RIA is very interesting thing in our SIlverlight world. We had 3rd Singapore Silverlight User Group meetup at hackspace yesterday. Chris from Microsoft gave amazing talk about Silverlight for Windows Phone 7. It was really fun.. Hope to see you guys next month.

We will have our second meeting on 18th of March, 2010 at Hackerspace. (Thanks to Justin for sharing a space at Hackerspace.) We invited Alex Goh (Microsoft Singapore) and Dewi Maya (Avantus Training) to give the presentations in our meeting. We will be giving away four books to four lucky winners. (Thanks to O’Reilly UG.)  I believe that our second meeting will be more interesting than our first meetup. Hope you all can come to our event on that day.. We can also have a round-table session if you guys like to discuss something about Silverlight. See you there.

Our local MVPs (Justin and Michael) are organizing a social gathering on 10 Feb 2010 from 7pm to 10pm @HackerspaceSG (70A Bussorah Street). See Silverlight 4.0 in action and discuss or brainstorm Silverlight 4 projects.

This is an informal social gathering to amass like minded developers.

Michael Sync (Silverlight MVP) will be sharing with you “What’s New in Silverlight 4.0″ in 15 minutes.
Followed by a roundtable session to know everyone. We will also share projects/ideas that developers are working on.
